Format Of Day

11.00-12.50hrs Assemble at North CountryMans Club, 4 Church Street Colchester
Essex CO1 1NF.

12.50-13.00hrs Pick up coach for those booked to go on tour of Colchester from
Head Street. The coach will then stop at Colchester Cemetery for a
short service and laying of wreaths to SGT Simon Francis, WO1 Ken
Griffiths,WO2 Pete McManamon and all the Fusiliers laid to rest in
the cemetery. Please note the coach is now full

14.15-15.15hrs Tour of Merville Barracks.

15.15-15.30hrs Coach will return to Head Street Colchester where refreshments will be served at the North CountryMans Club, The club is approx. 50 meters from the drop off point.

16.45-17.00hrs Disperse for evening reunion.

19.00-19.45hrs Assemble at the bar of T.A Centre (opposite Hyderabad Barracks) for Reunion evening, PRI stall will be set up in the entrance.

19.45-20.00hrs Move from the bar area to the main hall.

20.00 - 20.05hrs Colchester branch secretary Paddy Martin will welcome all guests (Please remain quiet).

20.05-20.10hrs The President of the Colchester Branch Colonel James Aldous O.B.E.
(Please remain quiet)

20.10-20.20hrs The Colonel of the Regiment Brigadier T J Minter O.B.E (Please
remain quiet).

20.20hrs Grace, with 1 minutes silence for absent friends from Paddy Martin

20.20-21.30hrs Buffett Diner.

21.30-22.15hrs Live entertainment (singer).

22.15-22.30hrs Raffle with 50% of profits going to the Fusilier Aid Society.

22.30-23.15hrs Disco.

23.15- 00.15hrs Live entertainment (singer).

00.05hrs Last orders at the bar please.

00.30hrs Evening end with coach waiting for those
who have booked to be dropped off at Colchester hotels.

Any guests wishing to park in the T.A centre for the evening must let me have their vehicle make and registration number as soon as possible.


For those who are booked on the coach for the end of the evening please let me know the name of the Colchester hotel that you are staying at.

If any guests wish to be seated on the same table as friends please let me know, I will also need the first names of your partner/guest for the table settings.

Any guests with special dietary requirements i.e. wheat free, gluten free, please advise me.

The Battalion Photographer from 1974 3RRF Terry Ladbrooke will be taken photographs throughout the evening, they will then be posted on the Fusilier Website.

Are there any persons/groups coming on Friday 30th March!! If so let me know and l will arrange to have the North Countrymans Club made available from 20.00hrs the club is situated in the centre of town.

For the evening we shall be putting up a memory board in the main entrance, please bring along a photo from your time in Colchester so we can all share the memory.

Finally please make sure that all final payments are to reach me by Thursday 1st March 2012 cost of ticket per person £20 less any deposit paid,the charge for the coach tour and the return to the Colchester hotels at the end of the evening is £1pp per journey, the Colchester branch look forward to welcoming you all on your return to what should be a most enjoyable weekend filled with many good memories.
