Graham Wood died suddenly on 24th September 2014.

He served at JLB and then 2RRF from 1976- 1986 and also served with the IDB in Warminster.

He was one of the founding members of the Northern Ireland Branch and was an exceptionally active member holding the office of Branch Secretary for several years. He also took part in the Branches annual Sponsored walk 56 miles from Bangor to the summit of Slieve Donnard (3000 ft) the highest peak in Northern Ireland on 29 August 2014.

Graham was awarded the Regimental medal of Merit just two weeks before he died in honour of his outstanding service to the Regiment he loved.
