Branch Meetings Sheldon branch meeting & social is held on the last Thursday of every month. The venue is :The Onward Club, 107 Helmswood Drive, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. B37 7NS.

Sheldon Branch was founded in 1982 at Barrows Lane
and opened by Sir Jeremy Reilly K.C.B D.S.O.
What we do. For the last 38 years we have held our Annual dinner at Barrows Lane. The last one being in 2019, 2020 was cancelled because of Covid. In 2019 our Guest of Honour was Colonel of the Regiment Major General Paul Nanson C.B.E. Over the years we have had many distinguished guests including the late Enoch Powell, who was himself an ex Royal Warwick. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at The Onward Club, 107 Helmswood Drive, Chelmsley Wood B37 7NS at 8 pm. A buffet is always provided. We are the most active of all the 8 branches within the Warwickshire area. Our last Battlefield tour was to Arnhem and others include two trips to Normandy, Fortress of Europe, All out on the Western front, Passchendaele , Ypres, Battle of the Somme, Arras, Vimy Ridge, Dunkirk and very many more. We also spent two weeks in Cyprus with the 2nd Battalion for an association weekend. We have also been to Germany and Auschwitz . We have had many trips to Belgium, Bruges and France for social trips. We also have many day trips, Canal Boat trips, 40' weekends, the list is endless, we do so much. Our members are mainly 2nd Battalion and 5 RRF. Membership is £10.00 a year payable at the A.G.M in November.
